Goals

Today was the first day of classes for the semester, and the two that I had seem promising. First of all, I'm taking fencing this year, which I'm really pumped about. Our professor is this fat, bearded, bald guy who is completely awesome. We're studying sabre technique, which I assume means that by the time May rolls around I'll be able to do this:

Aside from mastering the art of fencing a woman's clothes off, I have a few other goals for myself this year.
I'm currently reading this book titled "Wild at Heart" by John Eldridge. If you're a man and you believe in God, you should definitely read this book. It's inspiring me to fight my battles harder, both in my spiritual life and in school and to become a better man and give my girlfriend what she deserves.
It also really makes me want to put more adventure in my life. I'm usually a fan of winter, but right now I can't wait until these ridiculous sub zero temperatures warm up just a little bit so I can go out somewhere, build a fire and pitch a tent for a few days.
A final goal I have for this semester is to play my guitar more, and on that note I will leave you with this wonderful song by Iron and Wine which I hope will be the next song in my repertoire. Enjoy.

Pull The Lever, Kronk!

Yay! I got a music player to work!
I stumbled across this song the other day and I can't get enough of it. If you're a cartoon loving nerd like me, you may recognize this song as the original [adult swim] "theme song." (You know, back when they had all of those clips of the old people swimming in the pool.)

Whether it's the nostalgia or just the fact that it's a great track to shake it to, enjoy the song, and no kids in the pool!

Hello, Cruel World!

So, I have a blog now.
I am probably the least bloggy person I know, in the sense that I often find it excruciatingly difficult to say how I'm feeling, so, we'll see how well this pans out. One goal for this blog, however, is for me to figure out how to share music with you wonderful people.

As stated before, me no likey the self talky, so no life news in this post. I guess I'll keep up the mysterious act and keep the ladies guessing until I get more used to this blogging nonsense.

Alright, I'm off to explore this site and figure out how I can give you guys cool music.
Until next time,
Joe
